So I uninstalled to reinstall it

now that rdr2 is off my laptop and I have storage, the urge to reinstall sims 4 is consuming me..
#to everyones (my simblr mutuals/followers) dismay. i am not reinstalling ts4.. yet...#im gonna try getting myself to play and hopefully finish skyrim and fo4. also spiderman remastered is lurking in my library so-#-ill be getting into that as well#hoping that i dont drop tes. fo4 and spiderman before i finish their story and pull another bg3 (dont finish story and uninstall)#should i have just pirated most of these games to save me money? god yea. do i regret not pirating? yea. 😭 deed is done tho#fun fact: i have tes on my switch and i am pretty deep into the story but never finished it 🙃#i also couldve played tes via game pass. but uehemrm.. i wanna play with mods :3#i might try and make Roo or Roonella (aka Genderbent Roo hehe)#< in tes and maybe fo4? idk what the char customization looks like tho. ill try and stay vanilla for fo4 since ive never played it aizjsksk#okay enough ranting in the tags LMAOO#yapping

Ikea rugs not working properly
Hey guys,
I've been looking almost everywhere online for a solution to this problem I'm having with two rugs from the IKEA stuff pack, where I'm not able to place the rug down unless MoveObjects is on, and when the rugs are placed down, Sims won't walk over it, they will avoid it or complain that it's in the way! The only thing I was able to find was this thread on MTS from 2018, where someone else had this problem, but there wasn't a solution for the problem :(
Which is why I'm posting this here, maybe one you have dealt with this problem, or something similar to it, and fixed it! If you know, or have any suggestions on what I could do, please don't be afraid to tell me! Thanks a bunch!

update on skyrim: i thought using xedit to clean everything after i uninstalled important shit would fix skyrim crashing immediately but it did not. so i have no clue how to fix it
